Bring: A water bottle. You must wear all cotton clothing (with no more than 10% spandex) and hair tied up. No hairspray or fake eyelashes please.
This will be a practical workshop focusing on Palm Candles.
To start, we will cover the essential safety framework and knowledge needed for those wanting to perform with fire. Together we will cover everything from which fuels to use, a variety of props, setting up a safety station and how to promote a safe environment for you and your crew.
Once we have covered the basics, we will light up! This session will focus on Palm Candles. There is light to medium movement in this workshop.
About Oblivion Westwood
Oblivion has been using fire in performances for over 7 years and is a Qualified Handler of Hazardous Substances. Using everything from fire toys and custom fire props, to setting herself and other people on fire (safely), she has incorporated fire into many of her Burlesque routines to add wow factor and shock value. She has previously travelled to London to receive advanced training to further her knowledge and share with others.
